Rallying To Laguna Seca

From the rolling hills of Paso Robles to the elevation changes of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, LSX LLC took the guests of Newport Beach Automotive group for just one last summer drive. Celebrating fifty years of racing in North America, the International Motor Sport Association, also known as IMSA, made its way back to Monterey. Also making their way back to the track is LSX LLC founder, Letizia Silvestri. When first moving to Los Angeles, Silvestri got her start by entertaining VIP guests at races all over the country. Now, working with Newport Beach Automotive Group she couldn’t wait to visit her roots to reimagine trackside hospitality.

Thanks to the Four Seasons Westlake Village, LSX LLC treated guests to a relaxing evening before their six hour road trip the following morning. Well rested and ready for the adventurous weekend ahead, drivers and co-pilots made their way to breakfast and a route overview. While the drivers we’re being prepped so were the cars. Each vehicle was provided with their very own driver fuel cell -- or gift bag. Intended for the downtime along the way, the rally gift bag equipped guests with a radio, Bulletproof coffee and protein bars, Life Aid beverages, and Coola sun protection for the 300 miles of winding roads. They also walked out of the morning breakfast to their cars transformed thanks to The Tint Pros. With race inspired decals, this rally was ready to deploy.

Through Ojai and the Los Padres National Forest to Paso Robles, LSX gave guests a chance to relax at Law Estates Wines.  Leading up to the estate, Peachy Canyon Road showed guests not only the beauty of the wineries property, but an exhilarating path to a modern and vast structure. Before making the climb to the dining room, guests were offered Watermelon Aqua Fresca, and at the top were expansive 360 degree views of the entire estate. The room, surrounded by glass and rolling hills began to fill with the scents of delicious dishes such as spiced heritage pork tenderloin, english cucumber and shaved fennel salad, summer berry trifle and more. After lunch, drivers had just three more hours, and what better route than the recently reopened and picturesque Big Sur to PCH.

Once in Monterey, LSX partnered up with the Carmel Valley Ranch for their weekend stay. A hotel full of only suites made it the perfect place to relax throughout the action packed weekend, starting with partner of Lamborghini Newport Beach, GMG Racing. Competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, and quite successfully we might add, guests had a behind the scenes tour of the trackside garage and Huracan GT3 cars. Also a partner of McLaren Newport Beach and first time presenting sponsor of the IMSA race was McLaren Auto. With three 570s GT4’s in the Michelin Pilot Challenge and one 720S GT3 competing in GTD, the brand was a highlight of the weekend. From manufacturer lounges and parade lap experiences to the Compass Racing garage, LSX ensured the most exclusive access for the guests of Newport Beach Automotive Group.
